Dear Family of Sheilah: My heart is heavy now with thoughts of saddness for the loss of such a memorable friend and I extend my sincere sympathy for you all. Since high school I have lived far away from Portland, but I feel fortunate for memories of her as a great friend at Jeff, how her creative wit could reduce me to belly laughs in an instant. She was so much fun, and I remember fondly the times together at school, in our homes, at Seaside and in our cars piled with girls during those fun, zany nights at the drive-in movies, Sheilah always the joy and life of the party.
