Lynne was a mentor for me. I remember sitting on one of the benches in the atrium at Waterloo City Hall with her when she was the Mayor and we talked about my interest in running for city council. She was so encouraging and positive. She inspired me and many other women to become seek office. We even went to a "Campaign School for women in Brantford where she was a keynote speaker. I will always remember her encouraging words and positive spirit.
