Message: Lynne had great courage and determination to work for what was right and good- that courage rubbed off on many of us who had the privilege to work with her. She had a very positive belief in people no matter what their standing in life. She had a deep understanding of the world and nature, and how things inter-relate and matter.

Message: I remember Lynn as a co-worker, friend, and mentor. She always made herself available to help no matter how busy she was. She offered me guidance while teaching at Conestoga College, gave me a reference when I was looking for a job, and always provided me with a balanced perspective. It was her goodness and selfless spirit that I will always cherish.

Message: I worked with Lynne when she sat on Council. She was a very ambitious, dynamic woman with a genuine interest in the City of Waterloo and it's citizens. She was wonderful to work with and never seemed to have a bad day. After leaving the political environment she remained friends with many staff. Lynne will be truely missed
