Condolence: Lynne was a mentor for me. I remember sitting on one of the benches in the atrium at Waterloo City Hall with her when she was the Mayor and we talked about my interest in running for city council. She was so encouraging and positive. She inspired me and many other women to become seek office. We even went to a "Campaign School for women in Brantford where she was a keynote speaker. I will always remember her encouraging words and positive spirit.

Condolence: I am grateful to Lynne for her support many years ago when I was starting to work with community agencies. She was interested in guiding me and took time to talk with me about strategies and ideas. I learned a lot from her. More recently, when I see the strength, insight and good humour in Anne, her daughter, I know the best of Lynne has been shared and will continue. Our thoughts are with the Woolstencroft family.

Condolence: Dear Peter and Family,
How sad we were to learn of Lynne's death. It is hard to believe that such a caring, effervescent and energetic woman can be lost to us. I hope you all take some comfort in knowing that her works, and the many people she touched, will be her legacy. She truly "lived every day of her life".

Condolence: I was saddened to learn of Lynne's passing. I had the pleasure of having Lynne teach my Business Communications course in 1st year at Conestoga College - what a delight! We became friends outside of the college and will miss her infectious laugh!

Condolence: Peter & family -
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of loss. May you find comfort in one another and in your wonderful memories of life with Lynne. I worked with her at the college and greatly respected and admired Lynne. She was an excellent teacher and a leader among peers and in her community. Hers was a life well lived, and she was a great example to us all.

Condolence: I first met Lynne at Conestoga College, Doon campus, when I was student president of the Doon Students Association. Lynne was instrumental in helping me succeed there as we brought about both reviews and re-structuring of the student government. I remember how proud she was when she gave me the first of many tours of the behind the scenes look at Waterloo City Hall. She had a amazing ability to remember everyone's name, something I never quite got the knack of.
I feel blessed to have known her and being able to spend some formative years under her wing.
She will be missed!!
