Julie and Family- I'm so sorry about Rusty. My husband, Robin and Rusty were good friends for years. On June 21, Robin died while fly fishing on the Maple River. People often said me, that he died doing something he loved on a beautiful river. Today, I believe that. I know your pain and I know the loss you will feel for many days to come. It's something that never goes away. We spent last September at the lodge a few months after our wedding. Robin, often spoke of what a beautiful place it was. He couldn't wait to get to the Au-Sable in the Spring and check in with Rusty. I do find comfort in believing that somewhere out there in a place bigger then all of us, you'll find Rusty and Robin fly fishing on a river more beautiful then one could ever imagine.
