Rusty’s life, despite its tragic end, is a story of resolve, of triumph, of hope, of strength and of course, love. To say he was passionate is an understatement. To say he was a conservationist is an understatement. Those who knew him as a passionate conservationist know that Rusty took it to the next level. Rusty was perfectly suited for the life of AuSable River steward and did all he could to minimize his Eco-footprint. Too soon, that stewardship has ended.
