Elmer J. Zeerip, age 88 of Zeeland, passed away Saturday, May 19, 2012 at Holland Hospital.

Elmer was a member of First Reformed Church in Zeeland. He was a truck driver for Louis Padnos Iron and Metal for 27 years prior to retiring. He was a veteran of U.S. Army, serving during World War II in Europe.

He was preceded in death by his wife Arlene Zeerip in 2005 after 57 years of marriage.

Funeral services will be 2:00pm, Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James St., Holland with the Rev. Scott Van Oostendorp officiating. Burial will be in East Holland Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 12:00noon-1:45pm Tuesday, May 22 at Lakeshore Memorial Services.
