Hi Zeerip Family, Sherri and I are sending this message from Florida, Elmer was a very special person to me. He and JJ Moren helped me all the time especially during the early part of my time at Padnos. Elmer was always willing to go the extra mile to get the job done. Many, many hours went into get the job done. He gave advice freely and always gave me good advice. When I think of Elmer many stories come to mind, here is one, we were loading a lot of ships one summer, we needed to keep moving material to the dock for the next ship, Elmer would do his day runs and come back to the yard and haul material to the dock, some times a little grumpy, but alway there, he was much appreciated. We will all miss Elmer, but he will live on in our memory of him!
