David S. Binns, Jr. died Monday, July 31, 2006 in Estes Park, Colorado. David was born May 20, 1951 in Westchester, Pennsylvania to David S. and Pauline (Beatty) Binns. David moved from Swarthmore, Pennsylvania to Estes Park in 1969. He then attended Western State College in Gunnison, Colorado where he majored in art. David married Sonya Kaiser on April 16, 1983 at St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church in Estes Park, Colorado. David was a carpenter by trade and worked for various companies in Estes Park throughout his life. He was currently working with dNb Construction. He previously worked at Fawn Valley Inn, Michael Ricker Pewter, and National Park Resort. David's hobbies included the love of his home and animals, hiking, canoeing, traveling, reading, music, geology, archaeology and carpentry. He was preceded in death by his mother Pauline. He is survived by his wife, Sonya of Estes Park, father, David S. Binns of Estes Park, sister, Becky Ludlam of Estes Park, brother, Barney Binns of Bayfield, CO, and six nieces and nephews.The memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2006 at David's Meadow, McGraw Ranch Road in Estes Park at 11:00AM.
