Dear Arsenault Family: Ray was a very good friend during the time he spent working at HP. After he left our office for another position he would occasionally drop by for lunch and conversation.... My favourite memory is when Adrienne taught him a few words of Arabic....as he knew my husband was Egyption he would speak to me each morning in his "Canadianized' Arabic and I would reply with my limited vocabulary. One day he remarked that I was the only person who replied to him appropriately. He went on to say that when he tried his Arabic out on true Arabic speakers they always smiled and looked puzzled but did not reply in kind.... we had such a laugh when I pointed out that it was pretty sad when his arabic and mine was so poor that only the non-arabic speakers knew what was being said! I have long considered Ray one of my favorite people and his loss is a truly felt. My Condolences, Karen
