Ricky Wesley Lingerfelt, 49, of Cartersville passed away Saturday, July 3, 2010 at his residence. A native of Bartow County, Mr. Lingerfelt was born March 28, 1961 and was the son of the late Terry H. Lingerfelt and the late Mary Kate Tatum Lingerfelt. He was preceded in death by his brother, Perry Lingerfelt.



A man with a good sense of humor, he was a great husband, father, brother and grandfather and will be missed by all those who knew him. He was also of the Baptist faith.



Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Lynn Cole Lingerfelt; his son and daughter-in-law, Wesley Ramon and Tonnie Lingerfelt; his daughter, Katie Lynn Lingerfelt; his granddaughter, Gracie Faith Lingerfelt; his siblings, Loretta and Larry Branton, Erier Jo Mullinax, Geraldine and Larry Turner, Brenda and Jerry Bailey, Darlene and Ronnie Robertson, Robert and Jean Lingerfelt, and Jerry Lingerfelt; and numerous nieces and nephews.



Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 7, 2010 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Pastor Mike Abernathy officiating. Burial will follow in Emerson City Cemetery.



Serving as pallbearers will be Chad Branton, Chris Robertson, Damon Sexton, J.R. Lingerfelt, Jody Lingerfelt, and Jamie Mullinax. Ronnie Bennett and John Evans will serve as honorary pallbearers. Pallbearers are requested to meet at the funeral home by 10:15 a.m. on Wednesday.



The family will receive friends 5 – 9 p.m., Tuesday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Road, Cartersville, GA 30120.
