Obituary for Herbert Brock

Herbert Ouimette Brock passed away on Saturday, February 12, 2005, in Vancouver, Washington at the age of 79.

A 35 year resident of Clark County, Herbert was a World War II Veteran who served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Jason. Herbert was a truck driver and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and the great outdoors. Most of all, Herbert loved spending time with his grandchildren, his family, and his two dogs.

Herbert is survived by his wife Mary Ann at home as well as his seven sons; Robert Brock of Texas; Richard Brock, Mitch Brock, Shawn Brock, Herbert L. Brock and Wendall Mills, all of Vancouver, Washington; and Christopher Brock of Woodland, Washington.

Herbert is also survived by five daughters; Marilyn Reppe of Vancouver, Washington; Jeanette Brock of Portland, Oregon; Mary Seymour of Vancouver, Washington; Gail Tipton of Vancouver, Washington; and Linda Lininger of Auburn, Washington. He is also survived by his sister; Margaret Whick of Stevenson, Washington; his brother; Don Brock of White Salmon, Washington; and his Sister-In-Law; Elaine Brock. Herbert leaves behind numerous neices and nephews, and several grandchildren and great-granchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother; Jacob Brock in 2004.

There will be a Celebration of Life Graveside Service for Herbert on February 16, 2005 at 11:00 AM at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Oregon. The family has asked that any donations placed in Herbert's memory be sent to the American Cancer Society. Brown's Funeral Home is in charge of Arrangements.
