Dear Elizabeth,

We have not met. We are deeply saddened by the sudden passing of your beloved Dad. Your Dad was such a good man and we had a lot of good times during medical school. We used to tease him as Elvis because of the way he combed his jet black hair with long sideburns. The last time we were together was at a Mediteranean cruise about 2 or 3 yrs ago. Glad that he and your Mom were able to join that cruise.

We would like to express our deepest sympathy to you, your Mom and to the whole family on this very sad occasion. I am sure he'll be missed a lot. It was only yesterday that I read Minda's information regarding Frankie
and how seriously ill and very weak he was. Hearing that he had suffered a lot
through surgical and chemical interventions to no avail, we were not surprised
that he finally lost the battle as Mrs. Chan announced.

We did offer our prayers at mass yesterday and will continue to remember
Frankie and his family for the days to come.
