(nee Wiebe)

1936 – 2009



Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on the Palliative Care Unit of Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, Kitchener, on Friday, June 5, 2009 at the age of 72 years



Herta was a member of W-K United Mennonite Church, Waterloo. Predeceased by her beloved husband Rudolf Reimer (1999).



Loving mother of Irmgard Reimer-Manship of London, Albert and his wife Kelly of Kitchener, and Eric and his wife Cathy of Dorchester. Beloved Oma of Amanda Manship, Rebecca Reimer and Adam Reimer.



Sadly missed by her brothers Peter (Karen), Henry (Clarice), Edmund (Rita) and Bill Wiebe; sisters Anneliese (Gerry Slavic), Waltraud Karges, Rose (Ron McAra) and Margaret Wiebe.



Herta was also predeceased by her parents Peter and Anna Wiebe (nee Dueck) and son-in-law Keith Manship.



Friends are invited to share their memories of Herta with her family during a visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Tuesday, June 9, 2009, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at W-K United Mennonite Church, 15 George Street, Waterloo, on Wednesday June 10 at 10:30 a.m. Interment at Memory Gardens, Breslau to follow. Following the committal everyone is invited back to the church to share in a time of reception.



Expressions of sympathy for the family and donations to the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre, the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation or to W-K Mennonite Church may be arranged through the funeral home at www.erbgood.com or 519.745.8445.



In living memory of Herta, a donation will be made to the Trees for Learning Program by the funeral home.
