Passed away on October 4, 2002

We regret to announce the death of Charles Savard at the Sensenbrenner hospital at the age of 73. He is survived by his spouse; Adelaide, his mother, Bernadette Savard, two daughters; Madeleine Benson wife of Leonard and Irene O'Connor wife of late Daniel all of Kapuskasing, four brothers, Patrick husband of Marielle of North Bay, Theodore husband of Dorothy of Milton, Fernand husband of Salange of Opasatika and Alfred husband of Thérèse, one sister; Marie Beaulne wife of Émile of Mattawa, as well five grandchildren; Wayne, Laurie-Anne, David, Tammy and Daniel and eight great-grandchildren; Manon, Jessie-Mae, Benny, Natasha, Paige, Jeremiah, Adelaide and Ira. The Eucharistic Celebration was held on Monday October 7 at the Notre Dame des Victoires parish at 2:00 p.m. with Father Jean-Paul Décarie officiating. Interment to follow at Ste. Anne`s cemetery in Mattawa. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Ontario Heart & Stroke foundation would be greatly appreciated.
