The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

Obituary for Fernand Ladouceur

In memory of Mr. Fern Ladouceur who passed away at the Toronto Western Hospital on Friday, February 21, 2014 at the age of 87.

Fern is survived by his loving daughter Donna his sister Doris Sobush, sisters-in-law Pearl Waugh, Blanche Thomas, Pearl Ladouceur, Margaret Thomas and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Norah, his daughter Lee, sisters Annette Mack and Helen Madore and brothers Lionel, Rheal and Arthur.

Fern always enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, woodworking and spending time at his hunt camp in Cochrane. He was well known for his can crushing to benefit St. Paul's United Church.

The family will receive friends for a time of remembrance on Saturday, March 29, 2014 from 2 pm until 4 pm.
