Obituary for Rolland Luther "Rod" Chamberlain

Rolland Luther Chamberlain, the son of the late William B. and Ione Wollem Chamberlain, was born in Parma, Missouri on July 20, 1925, and passed away at his home in Dexter, Missouri on April 6, 2008, at the age of 82 years, 8 months and 17 days.
Mr. Chamberlain had lived in Dexter, Missouri most of his life. He had attended the Friendship Baptist Church in Dexter and was a veteran of the U. S. Army.
On September 27, 1963, he was married to Sherley Spitler in Sikeston, Missouri.
Surviving are his wife, Sherley Chamberlain of Dexter, Missouri; one son, John Daniel Chamberlain of Dexter, Missouri; one daughter, Sharon Hansen of California; one sister, Geraldine Jarboe of Dexter, Missouri; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. Many other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald and Aubrey Chamberlain.
Friends may call on Tuesday, April 8, 2008, after 11:00 AM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2008, at 1:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with the Rev. Lonnie Mittag of Dexter, Missouri officiating.
