Mary Russell Yule
May 27, 1924 - July 6, 2013
With deep sadness but peaceful hearts we say goodbye to our dear Mary following a brief illness. Mary was one of a kind. She was a shining example to us all of how to live life positively and elegantly. Mary will be missed dearly, but we celebrate 89 years well-lived. Wife and best friend of Arthur (d. July 2010). Adored mother of Catherine Woodward (Tony), Edward Yule (Deborah Martin-Yule) and Mary Jane Yule (David White). Memories of Grandma Mary will always be cherished by her seven grandchildren: Sara, Taylor and Victoria Woodward; Andrew and Stephanie Yule; and Matthew and Carly White. Devoted sister of Jerry Russell (d. Louise), Annabelle Heintzman (d. Howard), d. Bruce Russell (Dorothy) and Ian Russell (Joan). Guiding light to Joanne Sanderson. Mary will also be fondly remembered by her many friends in Toronto and at Cawaja Beach. We will be forever grateful to the staff and friends at Delmanor Wynford, who created a wonderful new community which Mom so enjoyed during the past four years. Thanks also to all of the staff at Sunnybrook Hospital for their extraordinary care and compassion. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES CHAPEL LIMITED, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 10.
