James R. Myers passed away on April 19, 2013, in Vancouver, WA. He was 66.

James was born July 17, 1946 to his parents Clayton and Evelyn Myers in Vancouver, WA. He was a member of the US Army where he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, and the Vietnam Campaign Medal. He worked for over 20 years as a machine tender at Fort James paper mill, and later as a teacher for the Washougal and Vancouver School District. His favorite activity was being able to spend time with his family, especially all the time he got to be with his grandchildren. He saw the beauty in nature, and loved to ride bikes, sail, hike, and travel. He could always be found on the sidelines of the soccer field, cheering for his grandson Gaven. He was deeply loved, and will be missed by many.
