Nancy J. Miller, born: February 8, 1935, beloved wife of Pastor George Miller, was escorted to her eternal home in order to dwell in the sacred presence of her risen Savior, the Lord Christ Jesus on Thursday October 6, 2011.
In her nursing career, Nancy held many responsible positions particularly in the fields of maternity, home health care, and head start.
Nancy, who was a faithful co-laborer in the ministry with her husband, loved being a pastor’s wife. Her heart yearned to be a godly servant for the Lord and His people to His everlasting glory.
Her faith expressed a passion for the Word, missions, evangelism, and works of mercy. A warm heart overflowing with loving kindness, coupled to a joyful spirit characterized her life of deep trust in her holy Redeemer.
In addition to her husband, Pastor George Miller, she is survived by a daughter, Cindy Fong, a son, Ronnie Chalmers, a step-daughter, Kathy Miller, and a step-son, Randy Miller. Her mother, Madeline Murray, and step-father, Hamilton Murray, predeceased her.
A memorial coronation celebration led by Pastor King Counts will be held at 1:30 pm Saturday, October 15, 2011 at the Carlisle Reformed Presbyterian Church, 14 Westminster Drive, Carlisle.
