Carolina Cruz Lopez, 97 of Abilene, TX passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2017, peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones. Funeral services will be at 9:00AM, Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Starbuck Funeral Home, 201 Edwards St, Merkel, TX with Michael Lopez officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, June 23, 2017 from 5:00pm to 7:00PM at the funeral home. She was a loving & faithful wife for many years to Refugio Lopez who preceded her in death along with 6 children (Roberto, Rudulfo, Richard, Ruben, Marco & Rosemary Lopez), a son-in-law, 3 daughter-in-laws, 2 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and a brother and a sister. She is survived by her children Rosalinda Mungia, Catalina Ramirez (Polo), Rosa Uribe (daughter-in-law), Carlos Lopez (JoAnn), Evangina (Bonnie) VeraCruz, Ermelinda Perez, Refugio Lopez (Mary), Maria DeSanJuan (Janie) Lopez, Maria Olivas (Hector), Abimaeloi Lopez (Lida), Rafael Lopez along with 36 grandchildren, 92 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
