Died at home unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 21, 2017. She was born on June 23, 1951 in Wilmington, NC while her father was serving in the Marine Corps. As a young child, she lived in Peters Township; later, she lived in North Strabane and attended Canon-McMillan schools. After graduating from high school in 1969, she attended West Virginia Wesleyan College, where she studied liberal arts. She worked as a legal secretary for several Washington attorneys and later for York Realty as an office manager until her first child was born in 1983. Later, she worked part-time as a legal assistant in her husband’s law office until her death. Vicki was a breast cancer survivor. She was an avid gardener and named Gardener of the Year by the PA Garden Association; also, she served as an officer in the Lexington Court Garden Club. Additionally, she loved animals, particularly birds. She maintained numerous bird feeders, supported various wildlife charities, and constantly observed the local eagles. Vicki was a member of Center Presbyterian Church, where she married Robert N. Clarke on September 27, 1975. She is survived by her husband, Robert N. Clarke of McMurray; her daughter, Ashley L. Clarke of McMurray; her son, Jordan N. Clarke of Avella and his twin sister, Amanda L. (Daniel) Greene of Avella, who is the mother of her two grandchildren, Dexter and Ethan; her parents, Russell D. and Shirley M. Dally of Florida; and numerous cousins. Vicki was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
