Sharon Smith Lee, 75, of Hastings, passed from this life on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Flagler Hospital in St. Augustine. A native of Palatka, she resided in Hastings over 50 years moving there from Palatka. Sharon was a homemaker and a member of Crescent Beach Baptist Church. She had previously been a long-time member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Federal Point. Sharon enjoyed shopping and loved her dogs and chickens. She was preceded in death by her parents, Skinny and Teeny Smith and a daughter, Julia Kay Lee. Sharon is survived by her husband of 51 years, Tommy R. Lee of Hastings, 2 sons, Ashley Lee (Sabrina) of Palatka and Tater Lee (Amy) of Hastings, a daughter, Laura McNight (Hampton) of East Palatka, a brother, Robert Smith of Gainesville and 9 grandchildren, Amber Lee, Ashlynn Nesbitt (Neil), T.R. Lee (Destiny), Triston Lee, Austin Hamilton, Ashley Hamilton, Dylan Altman, Jackson Altman and Nola McNight. Graveside services will be at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, June 24, 2017 at St. Paul’s Cemetery in Federal Point with Pastor Kevin King officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be sent to the Shriners Hospital for children, 12502 USF Pine Dr., Tampa, FL 33612 or to Rodeheaver Boys Ranch, 380 Boys Ranch Road, Palatka, FL 32177.
