Robert Wendall Otto, 90, of Riverside, California, passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2017, at Apple Blossom Home, Inc., Riverside, California. He was born on May 20, 1927 in Garden City, Kansas. His wife, of over 64 years, Patricia Ann Griswold, preceded him in death. He was the son of the late Herbert Warren Otto and the late Bertha Baker Otto. Robert served in the United States Navy during both World War II and the Korean Conflict. He had a 30-year career with AT&T, followed by a 30-year career working with his son, Larry Otto, at Lawn Tech Equipment Company. Robert had a witty sense of humor and a strong work ethic. He was a cutting-edge electronics wizard and a master bread and cinnamon-roll baker. He is survived by sons, Kenneth Otto and Larry Otto; daughters, Dolores Pires and Barbara Wotherspoon; 8 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 28, 2017, at Moreno Christian Assembly located at 13830 Nason Street, Moreno Valley, California, 92555. Interment will follow at Olivewood Memorial Park , Riverside, California.
