Mr. Ronald Humble Thunder Bay, Ontario Obituary

Mr. Ronald Humble

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Mr. Ronald Humble, age 79 years, on Wednesday, June 21, 2017. Ron was born on January 11, 1938 in Nipigon, Ontario, the only child of Bill and Stella Humble. As a small child, Ron and his mother moved to Port Arthur. He was raised and educated locally. As a young man, Ron began his career as an open pit miner. He worked all across Canada, retiring in 1996. After his “retirement” he drove taxi, which he enjoyed. Ron loved to watch Nascar on TV and going fishing, and in his younger years, cycling. Ron is survived by his cousins, Alice Potosky, Carol Waddington, Frances Desserre and Shirley Elchuk. He was predeceased by his wife Diane and mother Stella. As per Ron's wishes cremation has taken place and all are welcome to attend a graveside service which will be held at 1:30pm on Monday, June 26, 2017 in Riverside Cemetery with the Rev. Randy Boyd officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Everest Funeral Chapel, 299 Waverley Street at Algoma. If friends so desire, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
