In Loving Memory of Mr. Russell Hunter 1946 - 2017 It is with great sadness that the family announces his death at his home on Sunday May 7, 2017 at the age of 70 years. He was the loving husband of the Late Leianne, and cherished Father of Troy Hunter of Iroquois Falls, the late Paul Hunter, Melanie Hunter of Cambridge, Shanon Hunter of Timmins and Brandon Hunter of Iroquois Falls. He will be forever remembered by his granddaughter Aleisha. Russ is also survived by his siblings; Shirley (Bob) Barber, Ray (Joyce) Hunter, Myrna McCusker and Debbie (Carl) Siekez, the mother of his 2 youngest children Jackie Hunter as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Leianne, his son Paul, his parents Melville and Aileen Hunter, his brother-in-law Richard McCusker, and his nephew Larry McCusker. Friends and family may call at Abitibi Funeral Services on Saturday May 13, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. for a time of fellowship, sharing and remembrance.
