Loving Mother of Jean (Marie-Claire) Cormier of Cochrane, François (Céline) Cormier of North Bay, Thérèse Cormier-Merenda of Timmins, Monique (Chris) Beagan of Iroquois Falls, Rita (the late Paul) Bergounhon of Iroquois Falls, Joe (Monique) Cormier of North Bay, Céline Cormier of Iroquois Falls, Phillipe (Tammy) Cormier of Iroquois Falls, Anne-Marie Cormier of Montréal, P.Q. and Julie (Ben) Duchesne of Ottawa. Cherished Grandmother to her 21 Grandchildren, & 15 Great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her children Pierre A., Marie-Claire, Pierre ‘POACHER’ and Lucie. She was predeceased by her siblings, the late Julie-Ange, Agnès, Hélène, Phillipe, and Louis. She is survived by her best friend and sister Thérèse. Visitation will be held at Abitibi Funeral Services (236 Cambridge Ave, Iroquois Falls) on Monday May 22, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, May 23 from 2:00 p.m. - 3:45 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at Sts Martyrs Canadiens Catholic Church on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at 4:00 p.m., with The Reverend Father Léo Rancourt officiating.
