Passed peacefully away at St.Clare’s Mercy Hospital at St.John’s, with her family by her side, Mrs. Eleanor Mullins Bambury (Caines), age 90 years of Pool’s Cove. Predeceased by her husband, Perry, on September 4,1994 and son, Angus Wayne, on December 27, 2001. Leaving to mourn: daughters, Selena (John Gauci) and Heather (George R. Gould) all at St.John’s; grandchildren, Crystal, Jacqueline, Roshella, Tanya, Vanessa, Priscilla and Perry; great grandchildren, Keghan, Ava, Charlie, Laura, Kayla, Taylor, Clair, Sara and Myra; sisters, Aleta (Edmund) at North Sydney, Mildred (Thompson) and Philip (Allan) all at Florida, and, Joe (Allen) at Oshawa. Funeral service was held on Friday, February 17, 2017 from the MacDermott Memorial United Church at Pool’s Cove at 2:00 pm with Rev. Parsons officiating. Interment followed at the United Church Cemetery. Donations in Mrs. Bambury’s memory can be made to the MacDermott Memorial United Church at Pool’s Cove or the Canadian Cancer Society.
