Condolences

Condolence From: Marlene (Cosgrove) O'Rourke
Condolence: Bob and Sharon: I never knew Lois personally but my neighbor did and we walked together and would go by Lois' home in Marion and if she was out we would talk to her. She was a loving person and had a great picture of Jim in one of her rooms in her new home in Marion It looked just like him. Now they are together again. You have our prayers and sympathy. Condolence From: Shirley Pollock Parker
Condolence: Lois was a wonderful person. She and Judy (Moser) Swift were the most wonderful nurses anyone ever had when they worked together at Dr. Bennett's office. They helped us raise our sons! Our thoughts and prayers are with her family.

Condolence From: Barb Hall
Condolence: My thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Lois. She was a beautiful person whom will be greatly missed by many in the community of Cedar Rapids and Marion. Lois would always bring treats to us so that we could start an IV access for her. Along with that she always brought a smile and warm wishes. I was especially fond of being able to share crochet patterns with her, we would talk for extended periods of time about new patterns for baby blankets that we had seen or tried. I will greatly miss her.

Condolence From: Kay and Bob Lind
Condolence: What a sweet, kind and caring friend was Lois. We stopped to see her shortly before we came to Texas at the end of Dec. She was in her usual good spirits with hopes of getting home. She was a nursing classmate of mine and I always enjoyed meeting her along with other classmates at our monthly lunches. We'll miss her as we know her family will, also. Happy memories will keep her in our hearts forever. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Love Kay and Bob Lind

Condolence From: Sherry & Bob Murray
Condolence: Lois graduated with us from Marion High School, Class of 1955. We visited her just before Christmas in the Hiawatha Care Center. She was always glad to visit and a very pleasant person. It was good to have so many of our class together for our 50th reunion in 2005. Our Class always makes a donation to the Marion Independent Foundation and Alumni in honor of our classmates.
