I remember in a very muted memory of childhood Phyliss and her family (cousins that I did not know) laughter, warm summer days, confusion (who were these people?). Phyliss' smile bending over to look at me asking if I remember her. I probably ran away but who would ever forget Phyliss, then or now? Through the years it was always a sure thing that a call or a visit with Phyliss always, always was a certain moment of joy for my mom and dad.
