Condolence From: Elizabeth Kuta
Condolence: Gary and Glenda,
What a beautiful way to remember Bud with this electronic memorial. He always embraced life and the new things that came his way, so he is in heaven reading these sentiments and chuckling to himself. God bless you both! Love Elizabeth

Condolence: I got to know Bud at Manorcare this past year while my mother Alice Pankey resided there. I could always count on seeing him in the hallway with a neatly pressed shirt and pants on and not a hair out of place. He kept asking me if I wanted to go dancing, I told him he didn't want to dance with me, I'd step on his feet. He really had away with the girls. He'd kiss my hand, look out over the top of his glasses and tell me I looked nice today. He had away of making people feel special. When I'd take my mother for walks, we'd always stop and visit with Bud. He was a good guy. It hurts to loose someone so dear to you. But Bud like my mother who passed away Feb. 26th, is now with his beloved once again.

Condolence From: Marcia and Jack Funcke
Condolence: Dear Gary and Glenda,

Bud was a very special man and knowing him has been a priviledge to us. He and Lillian were extraordinary people. Bud's zest for life touched everyone around him, and his enjoyment of a good joke was contagious. We will always remember his story of getting his tonsils removed when he was a kid, and taking the street car home afterward. He loved the look of shock on our faces. Even though in his later years, he would retell that story every Sunday, we always got a kick out of it.

We're so sorry we weren't able to go to his service, but this is one of the days set aside for Jack's dad (99), and it means a lot to him to count on sharing a meal together and working on a puzzle. I know that you understand how important social contact is for elderly parents. We are praying that Jack's dad will be able to celebrate his 100th birthday in October. He is still in his own home, but he's homebound and has more difficulties now.

We want to extend to you our sympathy, and our joy at knowing that Bud and Lil are again together and the heavens are rejoicing!

In Christ's love and comfort,

Marcia and Jack Funcke

Condolence: Dear Gary and Family:
Our daughter,Cindy, in Manchester called this morning to tell us about Uncle Bud. We are so sorry for your loss. Although we hadn't seen him lately, we will always remember your mother and him for the beautful flowers for our wedding and you, Gary, as our ring bearer--which, was over 50 years ago! Living to 96 he had a rich, full life, but know you will still miss him. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Condolence From: Jim & Judy Shulista
Condolence: Dear Stejskal family,
Jim and I would like to extend our
sincere sympathy to all of you. Due
to the snowy weather we did not try
to come to the funeral home. Jim's
mother was Ann Shulista and Bud's
first cousin. Jim and I have many
fond memories of both your mother
and father--they did the flowers for
our wedding 40 years ago. They were
both very friendly and caring people
and were always fun to visit with.
We will miss them and know that you
will too. May your fond memories
help you through these sad times.

Condolence From: Richard Pankey
Condolence: I enjoyed getting to know Bud over the last year while my mother Alice Pankey also lived at Manor Care. I brought the Wall Street Journal to Bud for most of last summer and this fall. I last saw Bud at Manor Care on Tuesday, Feb 18th when I was vistiing my mother along with my family. bud was talking to my 2 and one-half year old grandson and when Gavin was ready to leave, he gave Bud "Five". Bud laughed as he smiled.

Bud enjoyed people and of course talking to the nurses and CNAs. He was a real gentleman and was liked by all. Our best wishes to your family. My mother Alice died February 26.

Richard Pankey
