I am so sorry to hear of Jack's passing. He was a friend and neighbor to my parents, Dick and Doris Taft, for many years. Jack settled in Bertram about the same time my folks did. I knew him well when I resided there. Even babysat his children when I was in my teens.I moved away and had not seen Jack for many years, but made his re-acquaintence when my father was ailing in 2001. He was an icon in Bertram and will be missed. God Bless you all.
