Condolence: Dear Darlene and Everett, I can't believe that I am having to write this note to you and your family. I quit taking the Gazette a short time back because I thought the price had gotten too high. I have been trying to check online for the obits each morning, but don't have myself fully trained yet. Today I was visiting with George and he told me of Jody's death. Altho I haven't seen Jody since she was very small and I haven't seen you for several years, I do think of you often. Such as when I see Aunt Pied and when I am in Center Point for the grandkids school functions. This is a terrible loss you will never get over, but you have to learn to live with it and it won't be easy. My heart goes out to you. I wish you all the strength you need in the future. Your one consolation is that she no longer suffers. I'm sorry Dolly, I wish I would have known in time to attend visitation and the service. Please accept my deepest sympathy. God Bless.

Condolence: Dear Darlene and Everett,
The miles have separated us for many years, but we still feel like "neighbors". We were sorry to learn of Jody's death. Although we did not know her personally, her courage as she confronted her illness was an inspiration to all of us. As you and your family deal with your sadness, please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.
With deepest sympathy,
Dennis, Keith, and Annadean Bull

Condolence: To Jody's family,
Even though we didn't know Jody on a personal level, she has had a huge impact on our lives. She really was an amazing person, such a beautiful person. We really prayed hard for her to be cured, we just knew she had a lot of His work to do. We couldn't imagine that God wanted her this soon. She was such a fighter, she went thru hell, but her faith was strong. What a testament to the rest of us! You guys have to be so PROUD!! The legacy she leaves behind is one we all have to live up to. She will forever be an inspiration to us. Our hearts go out to all of you in the days/years to come when you feel sorrow. But what a relief we know she is in the perfect place, just waiting for the reunions.

Condolence: Although I never personally met Jodi, I am still deeply saddened by her death. Julie was my 1st friend upon moving to C.P. in 75' and at that time Jodi was just a baby. I know most all of the loving family. I know Jody was strong and with that she gives to others that same gift. I believe we all pray that our deaths will not stop our loved ones from living but rather live the fullest until united. I would love to see Julie again and hope with all hopes she will contact me by email or phone. My thoughts are so with you all for Peace and Comfort to shower you. So Sincerely, Janet

Condolence: To The Jody Squires Family;

I was shocked when I heard today at 3:30 pm that the funeral was at 1:30 pm. My mother telephone me and let me know. I don't receive the paper or talk to much to anyone. I am sorry for missing the funeral, I would of been there if I knew, and I am sorry for the loss of your daughter.
Jodi was a good friend to me when I moved to Center Point in 1986 and decided to finish my schooling at Center Point.
Only a few people accepted me for me and she was only one of the few.
She used to tell me (our senior year), that we looked alike and call me her sister. We always could talk about anything. I even remember she set me up on a date for the senior prom so I did not go alone.
And she loved art just like me. We were both blessed with of gift of imagination and creativity from God.
I will miss her greatly.
I especially want to send my deepest sympathy to her
daughter Emily. Thirthteen years ago I lost a my little girl (stillborn) Angel Marie. I know how
it feels to lose someone you love.
I know it takes time to heal. Take
the time. And I know it never heals,
and remembering the good times are the times to cherish the most.
I wish I could give her daughter a
HUGE HUG right now. Her mother was a
very good friend to me.
I am glad I got to spend some time
with her month or two ago. I took
her for a drive down by the Cedar
River to show her where my husband
Weldon proposed to me. And we sat
there a talked awhile.
There is much more I would like to
say.
Again my deepest sympathy for Jody's
family.
She is in Heaven smiling with the
Angels.
Love & God Bless , Tina Cady(Young)
