Tina Cady (Young)
To The Jody Squires Family;
I was shocked when I heard today at 3:30 pm that the funeral was at 1:30 pm. My mother telephone me and let me know. I don't receive the paper or talk to much to anyone. I am sorry for missing the funeral, I would of been there if I knew, and I am sorry for the loss of your daughter.
Jodi was a good friend to me when I moved to Center Point in 1986 and decided to finish my schooling at Center Point.
Only a few people accepted me for me and she was only one of the few.
She used to tell me (our senior year), that we looked alike and call me her sister. We always could talk about anything. I even remember she set me up on a date for the senior prom so I did not go alone.
And she loved art just like me. We were both blessed with of gift of imagination and creativity from God.
I will miss her greatly.
I especially want to send my deepest sympathy to her
daughter Emily. Thirthteen years ago I lost a my little girl (stillborn) Angel Marie. I know how
it feels to lose someone you love.
I know it takes time to heal. Take
the time. And I know it never heals,
and remembering the good times are the times to cherish the most.
I wish I could give her daughter a
HUGE HUG right now. Her mother was a
very good friend to me.
I am glad I got to spend some time
with her month or two ago. I took
her for a drive down by the Cedar
River to show her where my husband
Weldon proposed to me. And we sat
there a talked awhile.
There is much more I would like to
say.
Again my deepest sympathy for Jody's
family.
She is in Heaven smiling with the
Angels.
Love & God Bless , Tina Cady(Young)
