Obituary for Rodney James Jones

Rodney J. Jones, 33, died Friday, December 17, 2004 in his home following a long illness.

Memorial services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 21 at the Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Manchester by Good Neighbor Home Chaplain Jill Mack.

Rodney was born the son of Roger O. Jones, Jr. and Sharon A. Frank on October 13, 1971 in Dubuque, Iowa. He graduated from Dubuque Hempsted High School in 1990. On June 1, 2002 Rodney was united in marriage to Charity M. Bolsinger at Backbone State Park. He worked for the Dubuque Leader and also for Tinker Toy Construction of Greeley.

Rodney enjoyed putting together model cars and spending time with his wife, children and family.

Rodney is survived his wife, Charity Jones of Manchester; two daughters, Tequila and Shania Jones of Earlville; his parents, Sharon and Roger Jones, Jr. of Dubuque; a brother, Andrew Jones of Dubuque; a sister, Laura Lyons of East Dubuque;and his grandparents, Roger O. Jones, Sr. of Delhi and Mary Margaret "Marge” Frank of Dubuque.
