Doris A. Moritz
Doris A. Moritz, age 69, died Sunday, July 30, 2006 at her home outside of Reeseville, Wisconsin.
Visitation for Doris will be at the Murray Funeral Home in Reeseville on Tuesday, August 1, 2006 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, August 2, 2006 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Funeral services will be held at the Murray Funeral Home in Reeseville on Wednesday, August 2, 2006 at 10:00 AM. Fr. Jerome Rinzel will officiate. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Pewaukee.
The former Doris Ann Gromowski was born on September 6, 1936 in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin to the late Harry and Beverly (Brown) Gromowski. On June 18, 1955, she was united in marriage with Richard Moritz at St. Anthony’s Church in the Town of Delafield. Doris was dedicated to her family and enjoyed the surroundings of her home; such as her pet dog, her flower garden, and the many cardinal items that she collected. She also enjoyed watching the Packers and NASCAR races, as well as an occasional trip to Ho-Chunk Casino.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Moritz of rural Reeseville; four children, Christine (Andy) Jungbluth of Waterloo, Jim (Kathy) Moritz of rural Reeseville, Steve Moritz (Theresa Wagner) of Juneau, and Greg Moritz of rural Reeseville; three grandchildren, Andrea, Chasity, and Jennifer; two great grandchildren, Brydon and Cooper; two brothers, Gerald (Shirley) Gromowski of Oconomowoc and Richard Gromowski of Adams-Friendship; her sister, Joyce Salmon of Watertown; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Doris was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, and a brother, Jerome Gromowski.
The family suggests that memorials be made in Doris A. Moritz’s name to the American Cancer Society.
The Murray Funeral Home in Reeseville is serving the family.
