Obituary for Jewell Hinshaw (Payne)

Jewell Hinshaw, daughter of the late Eli and Ida Lewis Fields Payne, was born in Essex, Missouri on July 21, 1945, and passed away at the Warrenton Manor in Warrenton, Missouri on August 3, 2011, at the age of 66 years and 13 days.
Jewell had lived in St. Louis, Missouri before moving to Warrenton in 2005. She had worked at St. Johns Mercy Hospital in St. Louis as a C.N.A. for many years.
Surviving are one son, Patrick Cummings of St. Louis, Missouri; one daughter, Linda Hardin of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; five grandchildren; and one sister, Bessie Purler of Exeter, Missouri. Many other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by three brothers, James, David and Freddie Dale Payne; two sisters, Wilma Rayburn and Mary Payne.
Graveside funeral services will be held on Friday, August 5, 2011, at 12:00 PM in the Essex Cemetery in Essex, Missouri with Wendell Adkins of Warrenton, Missouri officiating.
Interment will be in the Essex Cemetery in Essex, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
