Meinrad "Butch" Bucher, 65, of Wellington, CO, passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2006 at his home. Meinrad was born November 17, 1940 in Olching, Germany to Meinrad and Anna (Bermeir) Bucher. He married Hilda in May 1963.Meinrad's family migrated to the United States where he served in the U. S. Navy from 1959 to 1963. He had lived in Colorado until moving to Cheyenne in 1973 where he worked for the City of Cheyenne Street and Alley Department until his retirement in 2002. They moved back to Colorado prior to his retirement.He enjoyed going to his mountain cabin, fishing, carpentry, working around his house and working with his livestock.Meinrad is survived by his wife, Hilda of Wellington, CO, son, Erich Bucher and wife, Olga, of Loveland, CO, daughter, Irene and husband, Brent Daly, of Gillette, WY and three grandchildren.His parents preceded him in death.Private family services were held January 15, 2006.
