Clara Marie Brehon, 85, of Greeley, CO, passed away Sunday, May 14, 2006 at her home.A funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, May 18, 2006 at Allnutt Funeral Service -Macy Chapel. Interment will be at Linn Grove Cemetery.Clara was born April 24, 1921 in Greeley, CO to Henry N. and Ella Frances (Forbes) Hoff.Clara attended school at the Lucerne Olin School House. She married Victor Brehon on September 9, 1939 in Greeley. She had lived in Wiggins from 1976-1980, and then they moved to Greeley.She was a homemaker and member of the La La Le Home Extension, Ladies Aid group at St. John's Church and former PTA president.Clara was a great mother, strict and always there for her family. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, embroidery, crocheting, cooking and farming and sent many birthday cards to those she knew.Surviving Clara are her husband, Victor Brehon of Greeley, CO; sons, Jim Brehon and wife, Joan, of Red Feather Lakes, CO, Mike Brehon and wife, Joan, of Greeley, CO, Stanley Brehon and wife, Kathy, of Kersey, CO and David Brehon of Trinidad, CO; daughter, Caroline and husband, Norman Roth, of Riverside, CA; sisters, Marian Freeman of Albuquerque, NM and Betty Hansen of Lapeer, MI; six grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.Clara was preceded in death by her parents.Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care in care of Allnutt Funeral Service, 702 13th Street, Greeley, CO 80631.
