David Chris Burback, 44, of Greeley, CO, passed away Monday, September 29, 2008 at Boulder Community Hospital. He was born July 24, 1964 in San Jose, CA to William and Pamela (Manrose) Burback. David married Alicia Ortego on April 16, 1988 in Cardiff by the Sea, CA.He grew up in the San Diego county area until he moved to Colorado in December 2000. David graduated from Santa Fe Christian High School in 1983 and was a manager for Rite-Aid for 13 years. He also worked at Habitat for Humanity for over a year.David loved listening to music and traveling. He was an avid bowler, loved the San Diego Padres and Chargers. He was a very generous person who loved to help animals. He was very loving and supportive of his family.He is survived by his wife, Alicia Burback of Denver; parents, William & Pamela Burback, and son, Thomas Burback, all of Greeley; daughter, Taylor Burback of Denver; grandmother, Nadine Russell of Reno, NV; aunts, Janice Harimon of Greeley, Audre Asselin of Gering, NE and Sandra Wallace and husband, Bob, of Fernley, NV; and numerous cousins.A memorial service will be at 3:00 p.m., Monday, October 6, 2008 at First Congregational Church, Farr Chapel.
