Brooklyn, CT...Daniel P. Dobson, 47, of Laurel Hill Road died at home Monday Dec. 8th after a brief illness. He leaves his wife Diana Mercurio Dobson (known as Denise McNally) . They were married January 26, 2008. He leaves his parents Paul J. and Carolyn L. (Whitcomb) Dobson of Charlton, 2 sisters Anne (Dobson) Beck of Eastford, CT, and Marie (Dobson) Petro of Charlton. He also leaves a stepson Robert E. McNally Jr. and 2 step-daughters Nicole (McNally) Thurlow and Rachael A. McNally, 2 step grandchildren Joshua M. and Christopher Thurlow, one nephew Brandon m. Suprenant, and 2 nieces Alexa M. and Nikita A. Petro. Daniel was a 1979 graduate of Shepherd Hill Regional High School in Dudley, MA. He was employed at Schott Fiber Optics in Southbridge and previously worked at Spirol International in Danielson, CT, and Fiber Optic Technology in Pomfret, CTCalling hours will be Wednesday at Sansoucy Funeral Home 40 Marcy St. Southbridge from 2-4 and 6-8PM. A funeral home service will be Thursday (Dec.11th) at 10AM at the funeral home with Pastor Kevin Cross of the East Brookfield Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be private.
