Christmas 2010

Lynn, Nanc and I had planned this outing for many months. Two days after Christmas the weather was not so great. The snow was high and blowing everywhere. We were going out to eat at Lynn's newly found Vegetarian restaurant When we arrived at the door , there she was looking great and fashionable and no boots. I asked her if she was putting boots on and she said "nah I never wear boots I told her that she was like the teenagers! So off we went to Sarnia chatting away about whatever till the car came to a huge drift across the road. Lynn thought we should be able to zoom through that no problem and we did then came across another one. Lynn wasn't concerned at all because she knew another way there so no problem. Talk about determination. ha We finally got parked downtown but huge snow drifts everywhere. No problem for Lynn, she climbed over that and many others that day. So I had a delicious lunch at Lynn's fav restaurant and we all had a great time laughing our heads off . Next on the agenda was over to the neatest Health food store. We went up and down the aisles checking out all the products that she had discovered and I am still using the Balsamic vinegars that she gave me. We checked out an art store and a cool funky store that sold some weird stuff and clothes. Made Lynn think back to the sixties! Finally we headed home and I thought Lynn would be tired but no...we went into her office and had another long chat, played with the dogs, checked out the Christmas village. WOW! What a fun time we all had and made another date to do it again at Easter. The memories of that day will stay in my mind every year at Christmas time. A special thing to remember!
