Obituary for Eugene Leo Broerman
Eugene L. Broerman Sr. age 81 of Portland, Texas passed away May 4, 2011 as a result of a tractor accident mowing his beautiful sunset bluff.
Gene was born in Evansville, Indiana to John and Ruth Broerman the oldest of 10 children.
He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Jane Broerman, 3 sons, 3 daughters, 17 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Gene is loved and admired for his devout love of his family and faith, kindness to all and willingness to help others.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 8, 2011 at the Limbaugh Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, May 8, 2011 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Portland, Texas.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 9, 2011 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Portland, Texas. Interment to follow at Palms Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers are Eugene Broerman III, Brian Broerman, Ramon Ramirez, Michael Maixner, Ram and Ryan Reyna.
