Joe and I first met when I was assigned to Det 7, 14 Missile Warning Squadron, MacDill AFB Fl, July 1977 after completing 3 level technical school at Keesler AFB MS. Joe was my first supervisor at MacDill. He and I had many good times while on crew together and he taught me many things about the operation of the Fuzzy 7 radar set. When we weren't troubleshooting radar problems, Joe also taught me a few tricks of the carpentering trade when he was building our crew offices within the Fuzzy 7 building. Rest in Peace, Joe, you were a good man and good friend. And to you, Cathy, and family, may the Good Lord bring you strength and comfort.
