Please accept my condolences on the loss of Bertha. The names Hillas and Bertha are familiar to me from my earliest childhood, due to the strong connections between the Powells and my grandparents, the Sorensons, on the farms near Rouleau. Bertha was a kind, caring, loving and gentle lady in my recollection. John and I feel privileged to have visited Hillas and Bertha briefly at Victoria Park in July 2010. It was wonderful to renew acquaintance with the same wonderful people that I remember.
