"Purk" and I played on the same softball team in the early 60's along with my brother, Bob and Leroy Pierce. I stopped to visit "Purk" last year when I saw him out mowing his yard. He was a good guy and will be missed. I am in Florida for the winter or would definitely be there for the services. Condolences to the family.
