Obituary for Marcie (Martha) Murray

MURRAY, Marcie (Martha) - Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Saturday, December 18, 2004, Marcie (Martha) Murray of Carbonear, age 88 years. Predeceased by two sons: Charles, Llewellyn, infant children, three sisters, three brothers. Leaving to mourn husband: Cecil, presently residing at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear; six daughters: Aseanath Murray, Toronto, ON, Florence (Bill) Starkes, St. John's, Ramona Krone, St. John's, Margaret Murray (Ches Gorman), St. John's, Beaulah Walsh, St. John's and Sharon (Byron) Allison, Red Deer, AB; four sons: Ken (Madonna), Bristol's Hope, Jim (Rhonda), Mount Pearl, Fred, Carbonear and Myles (Madonna), Bristol's Hope; two daughters-in-law: Shirley Jackman, St. John's and Mita Murray, Princeton, Bonavista Bay; thirty-eight grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, WATER STREET, CARBONEAR until 12:00 noon Wednesday, December 22. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from St. James Anglican Church, Carbonear. Interment in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear. Flowers gratefully accepted or as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the TCP Health Foundation.
