I am the daughter of Hobbie and Louceil Whitener, I haven't lived in the Murphy area since 1971, but I remember Haskel from my childhood. He was a good friend of my parents. Daddy passed away in Jan of 2007, but as I spoke with Mama earlier tonight, she spoke of how much she and Daddy thought of Haskel and his family. We are so sorry to hear of your family's loss. It is always painful to lose a loved one, but it is even more difficult at this time of year. Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you grieve.
