Mrs. Marsha King, age 53 of Blairsville, GA, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at her residence. Marsha was born Thursday, December 1, 1955 in Towns County, GA to the late Ray Stepp and the late Martha Plott Stepp Schroeter. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and was preceded in death by sister, Linda Stepp.

Survivors include: husband, Vaughn King of Blairsville, GA, son & daughter-in-law, Jamie and Amanda King of Blairsville, GA, daughter & son-in-law, Tanya and Waylon Gibby of Blairsville, GA, brothers, Keith Stepp of Murphy, NC and William Stepp of Hendersonville, NC, sister, Joann Stepp of Dahlonega, GA, grandson, Ethan King, granddaughter, Kaitlyn King, grandson, Kord Gibby, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 16, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. from the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael Calder and Rev. Chris Rumfelt officiating. Music will be provided by Summer Calder. Interment will follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are: Roger Garrett, Ronnie Garrett, Johnny Garrett, Trance King, Terry King, Marty King and Nathanael Stepp.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-9 P.M., Thursday, January 15.
