Condolence: Like so many others, I express my sympathy with you over your husband's, father's, and grandfather's passing. I didn't know Mr. Collins that well, but I knew his children and grandchildren, who are some of the finest persons ever. So, I know he, too, had to be a wonderful loving father and husband. I know he instilled in each of you the desire to be hard-working and honest. In your lives, he leaves a great testament to how he lived his life the same way.
I know he was very sick for a few years; my own father was, and it was a relief to know he no longer suffers for he is with God. He, like your dad, cannot come back, but we have the promise of being able to go to him. That will be a glorious day!
I pray that you trust in the love, prayers and comfort of those who love can care for you.

I know anything I say can not ease the pain,from the loss of a love one. Maybe some thing I say will let you know how much I respected and loved Gene. I will never forget the act of kindness he showed me and the children. for the berrys he shared and vegetables. also he helped me put my utility building togather,as I had no help.
